Covid 19 & CDT, We’re Open and Update 8/20

March 27, 2020 by Conor Davis

CDT UPDATE AND CHANGES 8/20:

WE ARE OPEN! We are trying to make life as normal as possible during these difficult times, so we are here for you and your puppy for what you need!

Bot Homewood and Summit Campus are fully operational and back to normal. The only thing we are not doing right now are our group training classes because frankly we can't find a safe way to do them for everyone involved!

Our lobby areas will remain closed to the public, but with our secure waiting areas outside we are doing everything we can to make drop off and pickup as easy possible!

Please give us a call if you have any questions or want further details on our pandemic preperations and procedures! We are all in this together and deeply appreciate your understanding.

The CDT Owners and Staff

CDT UPDATE AND CHANGES 4/4/20:

4/4/20 WE ARE OPEN! **But there are some changes, so please take a second to read!**
- As other states have also done, pet care has been deemed essential. We are working hard to support our clients who are helping to keep our lives safe and running smoothly! The new guidelines for drop-off and pick-up are going well, and everyone is doing a great job staying safe!
- Homewood Campus Starting 4/4 will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays! This means any dogs boarding over the weekend will either need to be dropped off and picked up at our Summit campus, or you can call us to arrange transport (including in home pickup and delivery!)
- Summit Campus will be open and taking all of CDTs weekend overnight dogs. We will try our best to make this transition as smooth as possible, so please be patient.
- Both Campuses will continue to close the front desk from 10am-3pm on Weekdays to minimize external contact. But if you need to come during those times there are instructions on the front door to get service.

Thank you from the CDT Staff and Owners

CDT Update and Changes 3/27/20:

We are OPEN. Every day we have medical, first responders, and front line employees and families dropping their dogs off for peace of mind and so their dogs can get the exercise they need while their owners are at work helping to save lives. We take that responsibility very seriously and will continue to do our best to provide the help people need whether for the day, or extended stays.

We are following CDC guidelines for safety so we do have some changes to our procedures to protect you and our staff.
1. Only CDT staff will be allowed in the building. There is a secure waiting area outside each campus door. We ask that only one person be in the secure area at a time.
2. We will only accept food and medication when dropping off and would like the food in a bulk ziploc bag instead of individual meals so we can sanitize it easier.
3. We will swap your dog to one of our leashes that is only used for running dogs and is sanitized each time. We ask you to take your dogs collar and leash home with you.
4. We will be locking the lobby door M-F 10am-3pm and Sat 8am-2pm. You can still come during those times! We have instructions posted on the door for access during these times. It will be unlocked and staffed during the other normal business hours.
5. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and do not bring your dog in. And if someone in your household is showing symptoms please stay home to help curb the spread.
6. IF YOU DO GET SICK and would like your dog to board with us we are happy to take them. But please call us BEFORE coming in and let us know that someone is sick or believed to be and we will make special arrangements to get them safely into our facility.
