A valuable benefit of a dog park is what is does for the dogs themselves. It gives them the space and freedom to run off-leash with other members of their species, all while being safely supervised.

The above attached audio is quite helpful as I too have a dog whose breed is poodle. Going to a dog park along with my dog is a good alternative rather than staying at home.

I have two dogs. I always buy them the exact same treat or toy; give it to them at the exact same time, in front of each other. Inevitably, each will take their treat to their respective favorite spots. Hard to control. I just make sure that dog is equipped the proper essentials.

I have a husky and he had a confrontation with a small dog. Since then I had to watch very carefully. Usually had to put a leash on my husky and wait for the small dog owner to leave the park.

The footing of the facility is important, as there needs to be adequate traction so the dogs do not slide or fall during training. Rubber matting can be used to cover cement floors, and is commercially available from a number of places. Lighting and ventilation are also important, as many schools offer classes year round with morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Thanks a lot.

Supervision is key. Don’t be the naive dog owner who thinks nothing can happen at the dog park. While you’re both there to have fun, your dog relies on you to keep them safe.

Pet dogs play an active role in family life; for example, a study of conversations in dog human families showed how family members use the dog as a resource, talking to the dog, or talking through the dog, to mediate their interactions with each other. Thanks.
