Margaret and Damian will be talking about a VERY overlooked subject, but one that will not only make your relationship with your dog better, but it could effectively save his life! Teaching your dog to accept Handling and Gentle Restraint.
It is a fact of life for our dogs that we must handle or gently restrain them from time to time. Whether it is a vet visit, to dry their paws off, give a pill, or trim their nails.
This is a 2 part podcast.
Today, we will give you the steps to test and document any issues your dog may have. Next week we will talk about how to teach your dog to accept Handling and Gentle Restraint happily!
