I have two shelties and they are both on different diets but want to eat each others food. The older one is around 6 and a little overweight so he is on a lower calorie diet. The other one is almost 2 and full of energy. She's at her normal weight but needs the calories because of her activity. They both like to eat a little throughout the day. How do I keep them from eating each others food?

Thanks for the question...... The first problem is allowing them to eat a little all day long, lets get them on a feeding schedule so we only have a small amount of time to worry about the food stealing. Next thing is to get them both on leash during feeding time so u have absolute control, then just monitor the situation as needed as the pack leader. Using the leash and a little "leave it" u should be able to lick this problem in no time.
If u need more advice please keep posting........Damian

Thanks for the advice. They are now on a schedule and know where there own food bowls are so there isn't any stealing.
