Hey guys,
I have a question about puppies playing and how they play with each other.
Our little Westie is 16 weeks old and he has frequent play dates with other dogs of various sizes. A lot of times when he plays with other dogs, he grabs other dogs with his mouth and doesn't let go. Dogs his size and larger can easily defend themselves, and they quite enjoy themselves. Is it normal for puppies to play this way?
We often get together with another terrier, who is a little bit smaller than our Westie now, and they enjoy playing with each other and running around. When our Westie grabs the other dog with his mouth, she usually has trouble defending herself and we have to separate them. Do you have any tips for helping our Westie play nicer with this other dog?
Thanks for your help! Your podcasts have been a great help to us!
