I was wondering if you might have any ideas to get my Great Dane to stop counter surfing. I was using a squirt bottle, but after listening to you guys, I've decided it may not be the best idea.

Our Great Dane is 11 months old and he counter and dining table surfs. He's not jumping up, he's as tall as the table and the counters.

2 questions:

1) How do I prevent it?

2) What do I do when I catch him in the act?
