OK, so I have a 2 year old sheltie and we have lived in an apartment since she was a puppy. She hasn't had an accident since she was 4 months old there. However, when I take her home to visit my parents and their dog she always poops in the living room. There is a large yard and she is given ample opportunity to go outside but for some reason she has decided that the living room is "her spot." Needless to say my mom is not very happy about this. Seeing how I rarely catch her in the act she isn't punished. Do I need to follow her around the house until she learns?
